Damn Carrera, there are at least 4 cars I will have to buy….
Dave,
I am fascinated at the process of what older models get released with new liveries. Understanding that:
Carrera is a global market, in the business to make money, and understands their market better than the consumer.
Cars that may sell well in the USA may not do so in other counties
Carrera can only produce x amount of models a year
Licensing is always a challenge.
What is the process of determining when to make or not make a specific car. For example the Willys, although Carrera has made a huge variety of them, from my perspective they all have sold out and are fetching collector prices on ebay. Is it that Carrera doesn’t see further sales of the Willys (again just using that one as an example) or is it just moving on to new models to expand Carrera’s selection. Or is it simply management getting tired of hearing from a man from the east coast that the Torino's need to be re-released :D (thanks again :D )
Thanks for all you do!
