As for the process of what to release for older molds it's pretty simple. If we have the license and I can make a compelling argument for doing a car again then sometimes it works out. I have argued for a few years about bringing back the Torino, now with the absence of the Daytonas that argument I think was more well received.
When we got the GM license back i was asked to look at the whole list of GM molds we'd ever done and I asked about which ones we still had. All the GM cars we brought back are all the molds we had (oddly we still had the Sting Ray even though it was quite old) so I brought them all back because I found photos of real cars online that folks thought were cool and that we should do again.
It was my hope all along that we could make the 1/32 Camaro Concept into a police car. Police cars are the best selling cars we do and i'm sure we will have this car in the line for a while. I hope to do a whole fleet of different cop cars... if I had my way that is, we will see won't we? ;)
