A few new releases are trickling out and looks like we will be busy around here in the upcoming week, look forward to that.

PROJECTS piled high and needing attention. Not to mention my own personal trip down the "Resin Rabbit Hole" as the masters of it try and help me get things right :)

Behind on some email as it seems my end had a glitch. So if you mailed in and it seemed like I ignored you, I have not. Remember to just PM me through here for the quickest results.

Great mix of scratch and RTR action going on around here. Kudos to all of you sharing the fun.

I've been dusting off some old Flys, trying to get them in good enough running order without spending over $5 in after-market parts, and most of that goes to tires. The hope is for a car that runs well on Sport without magnets, and so far the results have been great. There's no other sound like the whine of a Fly sidewinder under breaking.

Busy weekend here. Picke up a shift at my dads cafe for extra slot money today. Parents coming over to eat the mahi mahi i caught in mexico. Tomorrow racing slots with my mn crew. Sunday watching manning and the broncos beat up the kitty kats! Snd in between all this i hope to get some stuff done in the slot cave :)

I'm expecting a shipment of Dum Dums, I mean slot car parts today from SCC. I let my inventory get low and needed more parts so that I could do another Indy racer from the printer. Got to get ready for those Grand Kids when they visit. This Medical Leave thing might be ok, I've been able to get a lot of building in, Printing and designing different chassis and then top it off with around 500 laps on the track. I just may have to retire after I go back to work for I am really enjoying this, even though my travels only only consist of going from the house to ManWan (my mancave).

Had planned to race at Sick Puppy tomorrow night, but work decided I should come be with them instead... :angry-tappingfoot:

But, I did receive a box of goodies from SCC yesterday, so hopefully on Sunday I get a chance to try and make some new black roundy round thingies.... :o

Well I finally have the sump system installed in the basement , the originL flood was followed 2 weeks later by a second when the pump pooched out. But as of noon today the new outfit is running every 30 seconds. I blame it on El Nino, warmer than normal up here and loads of rain. But I have discovered that I can work on cars on a TV tray in the livingroom. No major brass work, but definitely some club builds. So This afternoon I started on an old Mono McLaren and will get it ready for next weekends big Can Am Thunder event. Big job will be the cleanup of the floor down stairs . Oh and when the plumber puts in a sump tank they dont take the soil out anymore lol

Finishing up work at the 1:1 job this afternoon. Then I have to finish up my last touches on my T/A cars.

Tax meeting with the tax man tomorrow morning. Always a good time...

We then are going to Austin's Going Away Party tomorrow evening. This young man does not want a funeral - he wants to have a good time with his friends and family to remember and be remembered by. It will be a bittersweet time, but his life is something to be celebrated!

I'll be hosting the entire family over on Sunday for a little football game that I fully expect my Denver Broncos to win. Lots of BBQ, sides, and treats. Should be a good time.

I have a race Sunday at OLPH Church in Mayo, Maryland.
They have a great bunch of kids who have been racing on wood for 7 years. Some of them are getting good. The crash and burns can go for 15 to 20 laps before there is a wreck.

Spent the day working in the garage (non slot stuff) and now (drum roll please) I can get my car in for the first time since we started unpacking! We had already decided her SUV was going to live outside as it gets used for most "running around".

As to the upcoming unpleasantness on Sunday.....having just relocated to North Carolina I feel a loyalty there but having come from Indiana (where Peyton should still be!) my loyalties are divided......to quote Vinnie Barbarino* : "I'm so confused!"
