Jeff,

It's lucky you have power to work with. Lots of outages in your area. Man, I want the day off to play.

I was all set to start another car today, after I got home from the Dr. (I fooled them again, they think I'm okay)

Little did I know that a huge storm would divert toward us, and there are tornado watches and warnings all over the place. Lights have gone out twice so far. Phooey.

The car on the jig is an attempt to go Jenny Craig on this one compared to the other cars all ranging from 136-148g.

On another note, I have assigned my good friend Rich the duty of building his own brass chassis starting today. I have passed on the Maverick Harry gave me to see what he comes up with, looking forward to it. Another new guy to the hobby, once he builds one he'll be hooked and this guy has some serious talent at crafty kinda stuff :D

I don't know how you all find the time. I want to start building for the 9 bodies I have started, but just never find the time to get anything done. I keep telling myself when the track is done I will get started on cars, but the track never seems to be done. Then when I do find myself with some spare time I end up running the cars I have. I hope someday to figure out how to make time, but for now I have fun with what I have.

Heard from Mr. Brew. Several new resin chassis late models are heading to new owners for advanced testing and feedback.

I heard a certain young man in Fenton is on the list.

So MORE modeling to do.
