Hi Allan, just saw the reference to a entry fee, I know it's optional but I also know how costly postage is, so have made a payment by paypal. Speaking of posting, hopefully will post my car in a week at the latest as I believe delivery from NZ to stateside takes awhile. Because I'm located near the South pole , can you give me your full formal address eg State etc so the car doesn't end up in Alaska!

My shipping address is in the first post on this thread (page 1, post 1). Shipments from NZ/OZ can take 2-3 weeks, so your shipping plan (timing) sounds right. It if ends up in Alaska, we'll see if we can get your car registered for the Iceberg Wars Proxy............! :lol:

The first post on this thread is also a good place for everyone to get general update information. I keep track of confirmed entrants there, as well as payments and receipt of cars. It's all in the roster section.

Just a quick reminder...........

There's 3 weeks left to the deadline for the cars to be in MA. With a week of shipping time, that leaves about two weeks of build time for a lot of you.

Have fun! This looks like it's going to be a great field of cars to run. I'm looking forward to the shake-down, comments on the cars, the qualification and, of course, the first race! :banana-dance:

Here they are on the #8.

We kept them simple, so that they would fit in with the rest of the tampo printed features on the body. Name under the side windows and forum name over the rear wheel wells. We also included his association/avatar on the driver's side rear deck





We hope that everyone likes the result.

I also have 28 "8's" in 6 point, 8 point and 10 point font. So, if you'd like an 8 on your car, then let me know and I'll put it on for you before the first race; probably above either the front or rear wheel wells, wherever there's room and/or wherever it looks better.

Hi Allan, those did turn out nice.
I see however that I forgot that since they were printed on clear decal film, the background color of the car shows through Marty's avatar. Other than that, I think it's a fitting tribute.

I had a chance to, test it last night on a friends track.
