The 312P; my second favorite Ferrari behind the 330/P4.

When the 1968 rule changes occurred, the 330/P4 was suddenly rendered obsolete. After a year of protest, Ferrari tried the 312P in 1969, in both open and closed coupe forms. Only marginally successful, it left the racing scene in 1970, after Porsche introduced the 917 in 1969 and made it clear to everyone that in order to play in the new game you needed at least a 5.0 liter engine. Enter the 512, my third favorite Ferrari.

And the 350P looks, from what I can find, like an open CanAm version of the P4; probably better known in its Gunston SA livery:



Where can I find the 350P and 412P, 312P look-alikes?

Most of those Ferraris that were pointed out as not being in my collection are not available as production slot cars. I assume that some of them are available as resin bodies or clear bodies which I may end up with as projects. Also I assume some are available from Racer and as such out of my price range.

I'm in agreement on the 312P, it's a difficult choice between it and the P4.

The 330P4 in closed form is my favorite. All of the 1:1 cars were converted to open versions I believe.

I had to add the NART 312P car.

My 312p is running in the Ford Ferrari wars at the moment.
I got the resin body and used a MR Slotcar chassis for it.
And its not yellow or red.
