Well, for the so called "off season" things are getting busy around here.

More projects arrived in the ye olde Skunkworks to accompany the already full stack of projects I have waited to start on :)

RMS Resin bodies for our Sportsman series, Shotgun 37 sedan on the way, and getting ready to drop a SCC parts order to get them built.

Although it's a slow time of year for some, you longtime veterans know it's the perfect time of year for building & catching up on those projects you have been putting off.

This weekend I hope to finish my Buick Project and begin the paint and finish work. THEN chassis factory time as I need 2 more rollers to begin the next batch.

Not to mention some older releases I want to make chassis for.

Hope all of you are having a good start to the Summer and find some slot car time.

I like that configuration, should be a blast to drive.

I have a new racer that has been coming by for the last few weeks. I met him at a swap meet sponsored by a local Hobby Town hobbyshop where I had some HO locomotives and a box of slot cars for sale. He bought 5 of the cars and when I told him about DeBary Glen he was very interested. I've had people say that before and then I never saw them again but this fellow is a serious 1/32 slot car fan. We really only need one or two more racers like him to get DeBary Glen really active. I don't expect many organised races over the summer but it looks like we may have a really good program this fall.

Been busy programing some parts to be cut out on the CNC at work doing it the old fashion way of using a drawing due to a lousey cam program, but finished the last part today on the CNC. With the pressure off, I should be able to get back at fixing up a 1/24 slot car and get some track time on the local track.

Went to the hobby shop tonight and stocked up on glue, turf, moss and Sculptamold. Goal for the weekend is to finish the outside wall around the table and begin scenery work on my new track. Time to start making hay (bales) and trees and such. :)

Got a snap-tite S10 Chevy Pick-up 1\32 I been working on, I did put a drop arm chassis on it, might make a rock climber out of it

Winter here...
Been slow on slot car projects of late. Some car and bike trips interfering with my hobby.
Off to the new Kyalami in the morning for an Alfa day on track. A 450 miles round trip.

I have a beach racer chassis done, and the '40 Ford body is almost ready for paint. Is this race still on the schedule?
