Ron and I have worked out a deal with a very good caster. He now has a body, but I will let him announce when he is ready to sell resin castings. These bodies should be available soon.

Now I need another one for the LSR and Drags fun run, eh?

Re Motors

This motors are not SCX motors. I'll find the RPM specs on them. Because they are FF030, I believe the specs will be similar to the FF motors in a smaller package and less torque. They cost less then a $1.00 so I doubt they are very serious competition and if they are then people need to ask themselves why they are spending more :lol:

When the Ninco Porsche shows up, I will test run it and then test my chassis with this small sidewinder against it. The amps these motors draw is really small so they will present no risk to anyones track, and I really doubt it will be near the top of the field for times.

You will notice your last Bug has a fire extinguisher in the rack. I thought it needed one, so I added it when it came here. It is attached with Goop, so you can pull it off and reuse it.

I tested the Lancia on Luf's Targa track and was quite pleased with the results. It ran mid 8s which is about my usual time for a scratch build. It is a long wheelbase, so the car is a bit heavier than usual, but that should make for easy driving for proxy crew. I still need to glue and true the tires, adjust the pod and body float, so I think I can squeeze a bit more out of it by the time I send it in.

The car is in the paint shop right now, and I will get it back on Friday night, so pics will follow.
