Braid Juice

To clean braids you can use lighter fluid or ATF, it helps to use an old toothbrush. If you don't want to use a brush spray contact cleaner works well. ATF and some types of contact cleaner may attack plastic or paint. Once the braids are clean Inox will get you lower lap times for a while at least and seems to be good for the track rails as well.

I use Marvel Mystery oil to clean my braids. I also use a cheap ($4 on eBay) ultrasonic cleaner. Just toss in the braids, fill with your favorite cleaning fluid, and let it run for an hour or so. You'll see a lot of sludge in the cleaner's reservoir afterwards. Then brush the braid out with a wire brush, pat them dry and use them again.

We only use lighter fluid for the braids. Club Rule
Inox however is great stuff and really good for the rails too

I don't use a home product.
I have used Voodoo juice and think it does work well.
I have run out of that so I bought some other stuff called, Bobbys Braid juice.
It is thicker than Voodoo and needs a cotton bud to rub it in but I think it lubes and conducts electricity as well as the fluoro coloured voodoo. I wouldnt use it as a comm drop though it is too thick.
