Grant King Midget for S.C.O.R.E. racing!

[Lancaster Tornado!]

Here's the newest Tornado Chassis creation for S.C.O.R.E. slot car, 1/24 scale Grant King USAC midget. First I started with a sprint plus chassis, no need to shorten or lenghten this one, second start bending brass to make the roll cage, then the nerf bars and then the rear push bars(following the S.C.O.R.E. rules), third take the AMT Grant King sprint car kit and shorten the hood and side panels by about 1/2 inch, then sand and paint, forth get a Monogram sprint car kit for the tail tank and driver figure, mount and paint, fifth using Fred Cady decals for the numbers, stripes, USAC and Champion decals, then use doctordarryl for the Johnny Pawl hood decals, sixth spray clear coat and put everything together. So far on my test track things look good.

Excellant work. That sprint chassis is great. I used it to build my Edmunds Super Modified.
