That's a shame about the case, but at least you've already designated the car for the track.
I had this mess arrive from England last year:

My mail carrier handed it to me and said "sorry." It wasn't his fault of course, but that was nice of him. I pretty much resigned myself to having a couple of destroyed cars, however this is what was inside of that mess:

Thank you topslostandtrains for taking the extra care in packaging those cars! Since this happened, I always ask that pricey cars or those cars shipping from overseas be opened and tied down or given extra packaging within the cases. I still can't figure out how that box could have been so horribly mangled and the cars and even their cases be pristine...
