Our darling girl has become an adult professional on the way up! On another topic she mentioned her plans this weekend to prepare for her new job. When asked what she will be doing, she said, casually, "Copy editing for Car and Driver."

It took me a while to post this as I was very busy picking up all my buttons that popped off when I swelled ten times my size with pride.

It was a long three weeks or so, waiting for C&D's decision. Now that it's here, things are happening fast, and the house is going to be empty all too soon. :(

But it's a great thing, and I can honestly say from being up-close-and-personal for the last 5 years (yeah, it's been more than 5 years already) that she's earned this through hard work and skill. My bet is that she's going to move up quickly. :)
