Z-car Datsun 510 U2 build #44

Burning the late night oil working on my RMS Datsun 510.

Car is a fantasy livery based on the BRE Datsun and will be numbered 44 for my proxy friend Retro Racer 44 (Keith).
I had to respray my white as I had some bleed through. Waiting for that, and I can apply decals and gloss coat.

Note my #31 RMS Javelin is on the bench in the backgorund getting some changes based on last years run. She will be back with some updates.

Still some touch ups to do on paint due to some bleed though, nothing I can't correct.

So I'm a little behind and life happens, but I was determined to get this car and my reworked Javelin in the field.
They are leaving in the AM to Colorado. the Datsun turned out great and am looking forward to seeing them both run.

This one to honor Retro Racer 44 and my love for Datzun / Nissan cars.

This car was in the 2016 T/A Proxy, one of my first brass and resin builds.
I reworked and changed a few chassis and interior things for weight. Who knows it may not be any better but it was good to make changes to see what happens.

Awesome builds. Love the color scheme on datsun. Any photo of chassis from Javelin?

I didn't get a chance to photo the chassis, maybe dreinecke can shoot one after it crashes.
