Notes:
-Lez qualified the cars with 10 laps each, he will group them into three's for Sunday starting from slowest to fastest qualifying.
-Top eight cars are basically within a tenth of a second of each other
-Lots of tight groupings of cars, will come down to drivability.
-In O2 it's all Camaro's until CJ's Mustang at 10th position. I don't believe we have seen this before?
-U2 Heli's tiny Alfa sitting in 6th, this car will be a contender for overall win....that would be a surprise hey!
-Brumos Hillman that tiny car drives so well, great job!
-Brumos front wheels on his yellow #3 touch the front fenders with body roll
-Arrold yellow #77 driver is loose glue came undone it looks.

Thanks for the update. Thanks to all who are making this happen. Midpack is not a bad place seeing as how I am down as much as 1,200 rpm at the rear wheels. Hats off to those top 10 car builders. Getting the gearing right seems to be my weakest point in proxy racing. Got to get it right one of these days.

I checked BMW #3 of Bruno's and found body/chassis screw loose,tightened it up and tested car,all good ready for race day

The # 97 ( Conner McDavid) car was never going to qualify well, but it is so easy to drive it usually finishes higher then it qualifies. We will see if this holds true for the Canalami

Stock Scalextrics Camaro is mid pack , right where I would expect it to be, although it did have one top ten finish, so it will be interesting to see if it has a trait to allow it to be an easier drive then those around it.

Thanks for the time spent hosting the event and the driving until now. I am really looking forward to the race results

(Feet up in the Kootneys, riverside, catching fish and drinking beer with my bride of 32 years . Add in good WIFI and cars participating in two active proxies to follow along. Not sure it gets better than this)

GOOOOOOD Morning race fans. It's 9:00am PST here in British Columbia's beautiful Okanagan Valley with a bright sunny (as usual :lol: ) 21 deg C on the way to a projected 34 deg C. I will be leaving the house in about 5 min. on my way to Kelowna to help race all these awesome T/A cars. Racing should be starting around 11:00 am/11:30am hopefully.

Update ...just completed racing. Lez had the track all clean and conditioned for racing by running numerous laps in each lane with his personal cars before we arrived. I'm updating the spreadsheet and compiling video to post later tonight. I recorded one heat for every car so you can see your own cars in action. With eight of the KSCC regulars showing up we had four minute heats and paused the race at the two minute mark to switch off with the second driver .. The same two drivers ran in each lane the entire time so all was equal.

Red lane - Randy & John
Blue lane - Richard & Don
Yellow lane - Henning & Leo

Lez and I marshalled and coordinated the racing. Randy's grandson came out too and did a great job marshalling.

It's nice to see the Heartland Hauling Car doing so well... Was a bit worried about your track after seeing the pictures of it. Hope it has the same performance for the big race and keep ahead of Dariusz' rusty beast. Have fun with all the cars.

Well guys round #7 is all done.
We had a great day racing and all the drivers did one awesome job of driving so many cars.
We will wait for Rob to post the photos of cars and the results before saying to much, there was some close racing through out the field and was great to watch, congrats to all you car builds cars were amazing
