Randy asked if i can do the hybrid chassis for the Go!motor as well after doing it for the DSlot motor (or FF050 sized motors). Hybrid chassis? printed parts with a home made brass plate or styrene sheep plate.
designed for ball bearings (OD 4.76mm) and 2.38mm axles. bearing dummies (from shapeways) can be used instead of ball bearings, the printed material works great for this, i tried.
pattern file for drilling the holes can be sent by eMail or PM
screws for the chassis parts, i got from here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/M1-M1-2 ... 23528.html
yes, M1.4 by 8mm screws - they work great for 1/43rd chassis.

a guy from Germany asked if it would be possible to do the hybrid chassis also for a boxer motor.

Well, it is possible, here are some pictures and the link to shapeways. The pdf file for correct drilling of the holes in the base plate will be sent by eMail or PM after request.
I´m using metric M1.4 screws from aliexpress to fix the parts to the brass (or polystyrene) base plate. i´m glueing a paper print of the drilling scheme to the base plate, drill the holes, make the cutouts for the motor and the gears.

had to do a little repair work on my parma controller. after a drop the cable broke where it comes out of the controller.
so, cutting out 2" and soldering back together.
as the controller was open, i put a little epoxy on the windings after putting them in correct position. runs very smooth now.
