My Porsche entry. Built and tested in 3 days after scrapping my 907K project. Not totally happy with the 3D chassis- has alot of flex in the tail end which causes "Ninco" hop and body rubbing. If had more time could have braced it .... maybe next year.




My old P68 from last year with few new tweaks and rubber tires.

Well Allen, I couldn't find that NSR motor. So I will no doubt be Piranha powered. Now to decide on the gear ratio.

Well got my parts today for the 3D printed chassis. I was tempted to build one on the stock chassis and one on the 3D chassis. Re-read the rules and see we are limited to 2 cars only. Guess I could drop my GT40 and send two Porsches. Decisions Decisions.

Beautiful 917. The blue paint and decal application is perfect. The chassis looks menacing. Without even seeing it run, it just looks like a podium car. The weight reduction holes are very artistic.

After a few misshaps, the car is in the mail and I'm told it will be there Saturday.

Initially I wanted to enter a 906, car was too narrow for what I wanted to do so I changed to a 908-3. Unfortunately Shapeways delayed my shipment twice so I didn't get the chassis until this Monday, ran out of time so I ended up shipping a 917k.
