Guys - I'd forgotten I said I'd be part of this proxy till I say the car and driver list posted by Austin yesterday. I'll enter a stock version of the #17 Pioneer notchback Mustang. Modeler Bob has the car now but I'll do the allowed body float modifications and put the original tires back on it when I get it back (it has Paul Gage urethane tires on it now). Everything else will be pure box stock, including the body color and decals.

Another silly question, has anyone tried trueing the front tires and find they get gummy and will not harden up? While I'm on the front axle, can we change out the sloppy nylon front bushing with brass in the Stock class?

Stock class requires original bushings...modified let's you change them up.

Can we apply nail polish to the front tires?

Can the bushings be glued in?

Look for more tracks, plastic or wood and let midagekid1 know

Bushings can be glued in for both classes as I would consider this 'tuning' but no nail polish or any other tire treatment.. both classes must run clean front tires that can be tuned i.e. sanded and trued
