Throwback Thursday

Postby HomeRacingWorld » Thu Mar 08, 2018 9:09 am

Ahhh yes. I can remember this very well. You were a lucky one to snag this back then.

GT40's are cool..."race weathered" ones even cooler :)

I remember missing that one because a crooked contractor stole a big wad of money from me. It took over a year and a half to chase him down and drag him into court, during which time I couldn't begin to afford new slot cars- I was wasting money on trivial things like groceries and electricity.

Nice Nomad... Can't say I have ever seen a Nomad race car. But I like it!

Lucky enough to have that set of GT40s. Some of my favourites.
Even if I am a Ferrari guy at heart.

So if anyone is up for it...

Go back just 10 years. Pick a model from then that was the star of the fleet.

10 or 12, not really sure, but these were some real beasts around these parts. We had so much fun thrashing these around on plastic and wood, and even with stock Fly tires. Things were so much simpler, making the best out of what came with the car. We`re all just spoiled brats now days

Yes sir, spoiled we are :)
