Scalextric lemans trio....Winner!

Postby btaylor » Fri May 11, 2018 11:46 am

I am so disapointed that only the gt ford is dpr. The other two are not. Not sure what they were thinking on this one? I like to be able to go from digital to analog with a quick chip change. Its a great trio, and a fair price for three cars, but not if your buying for digital racing. Sure, i can chip anything, but it sures makes two of them digital only,at least from a quick race day point of view
May still buy the darn set,as its cool as it gets.
UPDATE!!!
This set just arrived today, I could not pass up the deal I got on this set! As I said, a bit disappointed in the lack of DPR in the two Ferrari;s, BUT. these are sweet cars, and they run great on my Big analog road course. That being said, I would recommend buying these to anyone contemplating getting it. yes, the GT gas some quirks in the authenticity areas as Harry had stated in his review, but overall, a very smooth runner, and looks good enough for my old eyes. here are some pics for to help make up your minds!

With a little creative shopping, you can get this set for the same price as buying three normal Scaley cars. Not bad for limited production run of 2000. mine is set 1930.

Yes Sir! definitely worth the price of admission! The Inline Ford is a bit faster than the two sidewinders, but not by much. The MK1v is very smooth for a RTR car. And best of all, they look great. Here is the link to the set I bought. not bad for a collector set.
