Oxigen Track in Nashville AREA?

Hey guys there are 4 or 5 of us in the murfreesboro area that are still trying
to race at least once a month. We all have Carrera tracks tracks and we run magnets

GRUNZ::: I have the SCP2 controller. I bought the one with ANALOG/DIGITAL oXigen interchangeable cartridge.
It has an antenna and black/red wires. I also got the optional battery pack for wireless operation. I plug battery in the USB power interface and it doesn't come ON.
I read for 4 more hours.
I keep seeing this Digital interface cartridge that plugs into the track that did not come with mine. All the instructions are for plugin it into the track. SO I plug the RED/BLACK wires into the power supply only and whala I get power. But this is not wireless. I thought that was what the batteries were for?
I read more.... For another 100$ I can get "SCP201l 2.4GHz oXigen radio receiver" So will the battery power it then? And will it then need a receiver on the track or is that the CAR chip at that point..

SF, if you post pictures of the components you have (carts and battery holder) I might be able to better help you.
At the beginning I used the 9v battery holders and I plugged the RED/BLACK banana clips into the holder.
But I have to say, the controller is quite power angry and it would not last too long.
Now I have sockets for the banana clips under the track table and the power is supplied by a dedicated 9v power supplier.

The SCP201l is an oXigen receiver that allows you to plug in it any SCP compatible cartridges and connect to your oXigen controller.
For instance, you could put in the receiver your analog cartridge and plug it into your analog track station.
Then you can connect your oXigen controller to the receiver and you can control your analog cars on your analog track wirelessly.
This still requires that you have portable power for your SCP (like the 9V battery holder).
