at least a few of them became race cars, turning up at SCCA races to pit good old American V8 horsepower against the Ferraris and Jaguars.

Hi Tony, Although homologated, the 904 was a purpose-built race car and, as far as I know, only ran in the E Modified Division/Class. Thanks for the try; I really thought we’d see more cars in the Production Division than the Modified Division.
