RMS Resins is closing up shop

Gents - I didn’t say it, but I have always worn PPE - gloves, eye protection and am well ventilated.

The sensitization I get can happen via odor or touch. The touch can set off asthmatic responses that aren’t good.

So I appreciate the helpful responses but I’ve been doing it right from day 1.

I was alarmed when I first read the caption. You are correct in that your health comes first. We have all been touched by your creativity, eye for detail and commitment to the hobby. We are thankful for the works of art you have created. I personally will treasure a little Datsun 510. Your legacy will continue to live on through the gems you have created. Knowing that mind of yours you will create something great in the future.

Wow David, sorry to hear about this but you health is the most important consideration for sure. Thanks for being such an integral part of the hobby all these years and I'm glad your still able to enjoy it in some capacity.

Very sorry to hear this David. Its a shame there isn't a safer resin out there for you.
At least you figured out the source of the irritant!

There's always room on the dark side for more 3D printed slot cars if you have the interest to try it... I think that the 3D resin will probably kill me before it becomes an irritant however....
