My Birthday dinner last night. Birthday is today. Wife and I are going to a magician show and dinner. Daughter and Son in-law got me this. 65 Today.

Happy birthday, and an apology. We used to keep a list of birthdays on the old site, and everybody's birthday was automatically cited with a post. I don't even know if there's a list on this new and vastly improved site. I'm sorry we let that fun stuff get away, but it might mean that we have grown so much that it is not practical anymore. Wouldn't that be something? But seriously, happy birthday, Middle Tennessean! Go float on the Cumberland!

Wife took me out to dinner again tonight. Dinner and a magic show. The guy picked me and ask me to draw something simple on a piece of paper. The paper was placed in an envelope. First question. Can you hug it? No. Second question. Scale of 1-10 your favorite color? Answer Blue. Third question. On the paper did you draw it vertical or horizontal? Horizontal.

Now on a piece of large paper back turned to the audience he had drawn what was to be on my small piece of paper. He turns around to face us and ask, did you draw a car? Yes I said He turns his paper over to show a car.

He called himself a mentalist. He read the mind of everyone he picked to get the answers to some pretty good questions.

Happy Birthday!! It seems like a bunch of us are completing our 65th lap around the sun , or more. I wish you all the best, except of course in any proxy where we're competing. Then I wish you second best.

Today is my 9th day of retirement - so far so good. I don't expect to be buying as many cars as in the past, but I am looking forward to having as much time as I choose to race them.
