Yes. The jet people are using real turbo jet engines now. Originally they were ducted fans, but
the new jets are much faster and sound more realistic.

Absolutely!!! In the Chicago area there are many clubs with flying fields, and they all have
"fly-ins" open to the public. The biggest and best is the giant scale show put on by the Fox
Valley Aero Club. This event is usually early in August and is at their new field near Elgin, IL.
They have a website if you want more info. Some day I might bring out some of my planes
again, I really miss doing that.
