And the race has been run, and won.
First I'd like to thank the crew that came to help:
Jeff, Greg, Stan, Dave, Paul, Goose, Rico, Mitch, and Amy all helped keep cars moving around the track by either driving or marshaling while Victoria kept us fed. I ran the computer and did a little car fetchin' when required.
The #33 car was unable to proceed. I fixed the tire rub problem but in it's first heat it tossed a guide braid on the first lap. Stopped the heat, fixed the braid. Re-started the heat. It tossed the other one. We set it to the side and proceeded on. I just do not get this car...
The remainder gave us no problems.
We ran two minute heats at 10V. Here are the results:

Ties were stacked by Q-Times as a tie-breaker.
I'm out of town tomorrow. I'll post some pictures when I get back. Facebook users will probably find a video or two from Mitch online.
Cars should be ready to depart by Monday. Thanks to all the builders, your cars were fun, interesting or challenging. If you have questions like "what the freak happened to my car, dude"? I'll be happy to do my best to answer.
There were a few of them that everyone wanted to keep. If that Alfa fails to make the next race, well, I know nothing. Nothing.
May your future racing endeavors be successful.
