So - here it is!
We qualified the cars in the white lane (middle) at 10V; 10 laps to get used to the car, get the braids right, check to make sure everything was running well, etc., followed by 10 laps for fastest lap and 10 lap average. The 10 lap average is a good indication of the ease of driving the car; the closer the average lap time is to the fastest lap, the easier the car is to drive. All cars had their tires swiped on a sticky pad before the 10 lap break-in and again before the 10 lap qualification.

The Corvettes and Cobras were ready for the customary bow tie vs. blue oval duel...………

And the modified street cars were poised to take on the purpose-built racers in the Modified Division...…

And the Production Healeys and Porsche were pitted against the smaller displacement Modified cars...……..
