Picked up an old AMT 34 Ford kit the other day. I had a couple of Deuce's, but no 34's. I built this one up on a simple brass frame, straight rail design. I used the hawk motor, and H&R axles wheels and gears. Tires are my own Jalopy urethanes. Decals are from an old Chevy truck kit. paint is just ACE brand, with a coat of clear. All side bars and push bars are made from my new source for steel, bicycle spokes. Nothing special about this one, i.e, no steering or funky moving stuff. This one is a racer to go with my others. Turned out OK I think, and runs really smooth.
I love the drilled chassis rails, amazing how drilled holes give an instant "racer" look!
I've been a member a year now, so glad I found this site, slot cars have come alive on a daily basis, no more dusty box in the corner, they're all over the house now! Thanks Bob, Brew, Harry and all :text-thankyouyellow:
