Here's a chance to own a Mirage that was built by one of our past forum members; Don Murphy (Mrollingthunder). Don passed away earlier this year and there is currently a Can-Am Proxy running in his honor.

He built this car the previous year (2017) for the Ford-Porsche Wars Proxy.

All proceeds go to Home Racing World, so please support the memory of your past members and support you favorite slot car board at the same time.

Both cars are weapons really I'm not used to such fast cars but my Son is loving them.

Hello NImrod, As a staunch supporter of HRW, I personally want to thank you for your contribution. This is, unquestionably the premier slot car site on the web. And, since it doesn't court advertisers, the cost fall to Harry - alone. Speaking of Harry, has anyone ever seen him whine about costs of operating this site? Has anyone ever been solicited to make a contribution? No you haven't, because this site is run as a labor of love by one person. Never expected, donations obviously help to ease the burden of running this operation. Sorry this is so long, and preachy, but... Most board members have probably forgotten that Nimrod was also the person who made a significant contribution to HRW by purchasing the Limited Edition Audi from Carrera, that was offered after a win in a recent proxy.
BTW, I am not affiliated with HRW in any way other than a long standing membership. If Harry and I were to pass each other on the street, neither of us would know. With all the excrement now fouling our lives, this is a wonderful island to escape to.

Thank you for the kind words Mate, really appreciate it.
Harry does so much and all his hard work has attracted so many like minded people, my Son is starting to lurk too.
I'm not huge on creating new topics and still have my training wheels on setting up a car so my advice is not offered so freely.
The auctions have been my way of showing my support HRW and all it's members.
