There aren't two corners alike anywhere on it - with the the big sweeper coming off the front straight (shown in the foreground) made of a combination of R-4 lead and exit followed by R-3 in the middle, leading down the back stretch to a decreasing radius corner at the end tightens up clear down to R-1s before leading into an increasing radius left hander that has you zipping along nicely before needing to get on the brakes for the decreasing radius follow up left hander, which leads to a short shoot with an offset and switch back, back onto the front straight!
:)

After being well fed (great spread Mike!), it was on to working at rubbering in the new layout!
After a bunch of fun laps, we broke out some GT cars and held the first official non-mag race on the new layout!
Z-carfan was running his "fresh off the show room floor" (minus magnet) Audi R8:

His wife ran an equally fresh Corvette C7R:

APalmer took to the track with his Porsche 918 Spyder:

And I broke out my well used Corvette C7R:

Pictures from the action:

Racing was tight, even with the track still being a bit loose making for some great door to door action!
:auto-checkeredflag:
With the first race going off without a hitch, it was on to a second race using BTCC/Aussie cars running a "Fuel Management Race"! The improvement in grip from the first laps of practice to the action in the second race was noticeable and with continued racing, should make for even better action!
Round 2 brought:
Z-carfan with his Benson & Hedges Ford Sierra Cosworth:

APalmer and his Omega BMW E30:

And me with my Jagermeister BMW E30:

Pictures from the racing action:

The racing was VERY close with all three cars being separated by 3/4 of a lap at the checkered flag! :o
Definitely a LOT of fun - and looking forward to the next invite!
Thanks Z-carfan!
