First Print

Finally picked up my Creality Ender 3 and after a couple resets on the build* I managed to print this...

Which is a test stand for s-can motors to hold them while checking RPM. It will be mounted to a board with the tachometer on the other end.
Next, I want to extend its' length by about 4 mm and see if I can countersink my mounting holes. The first one will probably get mounted with double-sided foam tape.

*If you purchase an Ender 3 do not even try to follow the printed assembly instructions. Search for "Ender 3 assembly" on YouTube and watch the first 2 or 3 videos that pop up. Watching the videos is way better than Creality's printed manual.

Hey Chappyman, just saw your latest driver figure on Thingiverse - very nice. My goal is a Slot.it pod capable chassis.

There are several chassis on Thingiverse capable of taking inline and sidewinder slot.it pods...and a few fixed motor position chassis as well.

Chappyman - I am using TinkerCAD online so not really sure how editable some of the chassis files are on Thingiverse - need to get wheelbase and front track correct for the car/body.

Once I do the revisions to my motor test mount I will post the .stl file on Thingiverse, or if anyone wants it just PM me and I will gladly share.

I use TinkerCAD online too.....I upload almost everything from Thingiverse. All the chassis, wheels, guide flags, drivers, bodies and motor pods I have done have been via Thingiverse and TinkerCAD.
