All of my Lego bricks leak Roland, so I always have to line them with tape which, as you say, is time consuming. I too have been looking at alternatives,

found some time to work on the 4x4 chassis.

grinded a slot in the axle and in the crown, inserted a piece of cable 0,5mm and secured with CA glue. No slip of the crown on the 2mm axles ...

will have to decide on the wheel inserts ...

had a Mini chassis printed from shapeways - in STEEL!

Lloyd claimed that the Mini could use some weight for the Little Monte proxy - this chassis will add additional 16g to the Mini. Instead of 3g for the plastic chassis. I´m already curious how it will handel on the Desmo. Will also make the rear tires a little more narrow to add some pressure on the tires ...

I'm very interest in this printing, didn't know you could print with steel amassing!!!: I'm still trying to find my way around a computer, and HRW site is quite mind bogerling especially posting photos I'm in the wrong again with my 1/24 cars sorry.

Some great 143 modeling Peter. It is very interesting to see what you’re doing. The four-wheel-drive chassis is very unique in 143 scale. The build quality of the chassis is top-notch which is what we’ve come to expect from you.

I am fine-tuning two or three entries for the proxy you are hosting. Instead of building new cars I am fine-tuning some other cars that were previously built. Hopefully they will be competitive in the 143 Pronomag.

tuning a previous entry is a very good idea. looking forward to run them! i do not know by now which car to run, but maybe it will be a Mini LOL
i hope that Lloyd will have a Little Monte Proxy again - that´s what the 4WD is designed for :D
