Re tires.

Are rubber tires allowed on the front axle as it is not a drive axle. I have a bunch of Scalextrics F! Rear tires that fit the dimension requirement, but are made of rubber. Was wondering if there would be an issue using them as front tires.

Well I’m very upset about this but due to life and job issues going on right now I will not be sending cars this year :mad: :mad: !!! I had 2 cars planned and started then a bomb was dropped on my life and job situation and I went into a panic, depressed mode and haven’t had any desire to do any slot car related stuff or anything else for a matter of fact!!! If things happen with work the way it sounds now I will be out of slots for a couple years but not HRW!! If things change with the job situation I will be right back at it :D :D. It’s frustrating but it’s life and I have to deal with it!!

Broman62 - I hope things work out for you and that you are able to stay in the groove (slot). Having an outlet where we can focus on something relaxing and pleasurable is important for smoothing out the bumps in life. In therapy it's common to take a few minutes a week to ask what people have done to uplift themselves, like going out for ice cream or taking in a movie. Maybe for you a little solder smoke is just what the doctor ordered.

So I got off my Pooh Pooh chair and somewhat out of my funk and have jumped on getting my cars ready to send down for the Showdown!! It has been great therapy instead of sitting around worrying and being miserable!!! I’m hoping to get them mailed out on Monday, Tuesday the very latest and will be sending them priority so they should get there by Thursday or Friday...don’t care if they’re competitive just want to participate...PLUS... after seeing that prize list I just couldn’t pass that up :D :D :auto-layrubber: :auto-layrubber: :auto-layrubber:
