Since closing down RMS Resins and piddling with 3D, I've been wanting to do something with some of the 3D models I've either had process for kits, or waiting in the wings. Sadly, I've lost the key model due to a major computer SNAFU a few years ago: the Datsun 510. It really breaks my heart.
So, here's the deal: Here, at HRW only, I'm going to list what I have and what is going to be available in the future. If you would like a copy of the 3D model to PRINT FOR YOUR OWN USE, email rmsresins@gmail.com and I'll be happy to share the file with you.
To further emphasize my point above - this is not for anyone to put on Thingverse as their own, or sell the model for profit. In the case of most of these models, I've got hundreds of dollars invested in each already. It would be a shame to have someone profit from freely given material. I've dealt with that before when trading "blem" castings and had to deal with several bad eggs.
As I have lost almost all of my completed STL files, our own Nimrod will be helping clean these up for printing purposes. This isn't as easy as it looks and it may take awhile, but the ones we will release in the future are the following:
