Round #1 of the 2019 TransAm Proxy series is in the books!

We ran the race this morning. The drivers were Matt (changing.gearz - red lane), Jeff (dge467 - white lane) and Bob (relog - blue lane). The drivers stayed in their lanes throughout the race and the cars were rotated in using reverse qualy order. The heats were 3 minutes each and the track was run at 10.0V. Prior to the race, the track was vac'd and then wiped down with a tack cloth. Each car had it's tires swiped on a sticky pad prior to entry into the heats, and again, between heats.

Before we got started with the racing, we held a concourse event; here are your top 10 concourse winners:

The racing was close and we had several heats where the cars went around the track virtually door-to-door for the whole 3 minutes - fun stuff!

It's good to be racing TransAm again; particularly given that many of this year's care are actually last year's cars; re-tuned for 2019. When the shipping accident happened last year after Round #1, it took another year plus to get this show back on the road. But - it's back...……. and this series should be fun!

Great pictures as always. Thank to you and the guys who made this happen today. Congratulations to Allan, Smokieo and Steve. I'm a little shocked. I have never finished this low at the River Run in this series but with one car. A 42B powered Cuda in 2016. Have finished as high as 5th. Either my cars are going backwards are the field is getting that much better. :think:

Maybe the 48 will redeem itself down the road. :)

Allan you have #7 listed twice. Which should have been the #77 of Dodgefarmer? Both with 76 laps.

Thanks Arrold, Randy's #77 (dodgefarmer) is the car with the 6.701 fastest lap. Correction made.

mid pack qualy, mid pack finish, so pretty pleased with that, we just need to find .8 sec to get up the front!!
