I am putting a car together for the 2020 season, and I was wondering if the number 17 is available. REL13

Fantastic to see the interest in the series, thank you for the support - I will update post 1.

Please take a few moments to review the rules.

There are no car #0 in this series, or for that matter car #00 - outside of North America, racing numbers start at 1. The Ford GTE is not eligible for this event. please check the list of eligible cars, there are many to choose from.

Returning entrants have first right of refusal on keeping their number and number #1 is reserved for the current series champ.

Also a friendly reminder that the series is limited to 24 cars and the top 16 from the current series + plus any returning champion will have first option on those places (more details in the rules) - I am looking forward to giving all the remaining entrants a good chance at making the field. There will be a live broadcast of the shootout event!

I will pass on #0 i will tentatively plan on #2 depending on the top 16
Im going to look at the Ford GT see if it works wheel base wise.

As for the top 16, I know I need to qualify in so, I only have one strategy I am going to build a car just to qualify for the series it will be a one lap fire breathing hold on to your hat sticky tire disposable car just to get into the series. Then if I make it in my next strategy is to PRAY my car can finish in the top 16 in points so i wont have to do it again next year.

If any body has any suggestions I'm willing to listen!

You'd be more wise working on getting the most from NSR Supergrips because that's what the quick guys use.

Ninco Ford GT has similar footprint to my scaleauto viper....
Chassis isn’t the best IMHO...

Ps I’m running same spec’s as my GRP5 #50
Ps I treat my tyres to make my car fast from the get go...But then I hope the tyre + air rims start working together....Which I think they are as I just top qualified....

That's a fantastic offer thank you but I far prefer SlotIt sidewinder motor mounts, I've gone off racing NSR's but I can get a 3DP chassis for the C7R designed for a SlotIt pod. There's a guy in the UK who does loads (Angelo Amato) and prices are super reasonable.
...slowly being tempted... :)
