GT3 Proxy 2020_Registration Rules & Info (UPDATED)

So it will be a short race for the cars outside the top 16 and any past champions, not a one minute, best lap type of program.
How long will the race be?
What track will it be on?
What will be the format, will it be on the same day as the series race?
This will be my new strategy build a car to win this race, or at least finish in the top 7 or what ever the number is that makes it into the series.

Some of this is still TBD, but here is what I am looking at:

1) one or two of the local tracks, more than likely mine, will be used for the shoot-out (pictures of all the tracks will be posted in the near future - take a look at the current rounds as many of these tracks will be back)
2) qualification will be the best lap out of 15 - 20 laps
3) race will be approximately 3x 3 minute heats for a total of 9 mins.

All of the above to be confirmed, but you can be assured that we will do our best to make it fair for everyone and get the most competitive cars into the event.

As Chris noted above, I got in on this at the 11th hour. Certainly glad to be asked back! Hopefully, my car will qualify. SCANC will host one round of this series on one of our several tracks to be determined at a later date.

Just to be sure - am I to understand that the attached list of eligible GT cars is an addendum to the Group 5 cars that were eligible in past proxies? Or has this proxy become a GT proxy with the attached list being all-inclusive? I want to go into this with at least one eye open.

Ok, no problem as I needed to build something new anyway. Not decided on a car yet, but I'm leaning towards a Corvette C6R.

While at the Kleskun Hills facility a GT3 Porsche was caught in a heavy testing session. The challenge of this event has created a need and opportunity for New corporate sponsors. BARC has partnered up with CN Rail to bring the message of Fast Freight for the customers of CN Rail. Along for the ride is GE which is a huge diesel electric vendor of CN rail

A NSR Porsche Body was fitted to a scratchbuilt wire and brass chassis in a sidewinder application. NSR rubber is being used on the rear wheels. Appears to be wide and profiled. Team was tight lipped about gear ratio and motor specs.
