That Stearman pilot looks like me when I flew my Pitts. I wore a cloth helmet made to hold a headset. You needed something over your ears or the noise was deafening. He's holding the stick with both hands so he's probably getting ready to do a snap roll or a spin. The controls in a Stearman are real heavy.

Painted the driver and interior, now back to finishing the chassis...

Very nice! I'd love to have the top half of something like this available for flat interior builds. Drivers that can be fit in place is one of the hardest parts of making slot cars from models.

Found a few more helmets for my drivers. I used TinkerCad to add the helmets to the drivers. I will post these on Thingiverse if anyone is interested.
