Four Hour Enduro at Mark's Model World - 9/27/19!

The SPEC WOMP 4-Hour Enduro is in the books!
There were four teams competing in last night's run with some GREAT door to door racing!
The cars were all required to run the same body, motor (H&R 18k), gearing and tires (picture of the rules below) - making for extremely close performing cars!

Team standings shuffled multiple times during the race as changes in drivers and the onset of "racing in the dark" came into play!
At the drop of the checkered flag, three of the teams had logged more than 1600 laps each and the difference between finishing positions of the top three teams was separated by no more than 2.6%!

Looks like a lot of fun with MG Midgets! Just like the old days when the Midgets and Sprites used to go at it in SCCA.

Enduros are great - particularly the “night” portion of the race.

This was my second enduro, first with the Womp’s.
It was great fun and there was some very close racing action.

Great job by Todd to build and tweak our ride for the night, very stable and quick. (Even when I was driving)! :)
