Trouble Posting

Postby Cincyslots » Mon Apr 08, 2013 7:40 am

Does anyone else have trouble posting replies or post for that matter. I have to click 2-5 times in the text box before I can start typing. Not a big deal. Just wondering why?

Yes, but only in the full editor window. Everything works fine in the quick reply window.

I have to click twice in the box when in full editor mode also, it's very frustrating.

Strange but I'm happy to know I'm not alone. Again, it's not a big deal, when I remember.

Not sure.

Our software settings and database server is fine.

Just off the phone with provider and no known issues.

Not everyone is having the problem. So it is almost impossible to troubleshoot.

I just had 3 students in class access it with the little smart phones and on the 3 laptops in the library. I am on it now and it is working fine?

I do not like saying it, but sometimes it is a setting or connection on the other end. We all have times when things go slowly and our internet provider happily does not inform us they are working on things.

My apologies, but we have done all we can do on this end.

quick reply seems to work fine. Like I said, I wouldn't go crazy looking for a solution. I was just curious if it were just me, a few, all???

Thanks for the efforts Harry and everyone. I thought it was just my old crusty computer that's why I never mentioned it before in till Cincyslots/Bruce did. I do have a newer laptop that I haven't used for awhile, but it all so uses Windows XP. Maybe things on my end are just getting out dated.
