I'm 100% into this. Thanks Harry for framing it in a way everyone can participate as they desire and we all get to see what others come up with.
I'm going to build a 'limited' stocker using the 'I will' suggestions - common body styles and years, stock engine and gearing, plastic chassis, etc. Then I think I'll build an 'unlimited' one too, using the same general guidelines but with a scratchbuilt brass chassis to revive those old skills.
The bodies will most likely be an RMS '68 Cougar and a Revell-Monogram '67 Ford Fairlane. I have a SCX 'Cuda I bought and wondered why it cost so much, $59, then realized it was digital and I run analog on wood. I converted it to analog but was never thrilled with how it ran compared to my other Trans Am cars, so if anyone wants to swap for a Revel '67 Fairlane car let me know. I have everything the 'Cuda came with, from case to digital chip and spare chassis.
Harry gets first dibs if he's interested.
