If the models were available my favorite subject would be "cars I've owned". I do have the Yaris, but the others aren't even available as plastic models. :(

Otherwise I'm interested in pretty much every road car from the 1920's up through the 1980's.

My favorites are the 50s and 60s gt racers and the GTP era of prototypes.

Classic 60s sports cars for me. Beautiful cars. But it was the Ninco Classics that convinced me non-magnet was the way.

Next in line would be SCX 4WD rally cars. Guaranteed smile fodder.

But my love's are really as simple as a pretty car to cruise around the track with. It's as much about watching as driving for me.

Pretty much anything involved with oval racing. From the newest Grand Nationals to the early dirt and board track racers

I don't know which one I would choose I like scca racing the old Trans am the most in the scca, can am, nascar any era,imsa, all the FIA racing, DTM, WRC, Hill climbs, drifting , BTCC,WTCC, Canadian nascar, Cart, Usac, and drag racing, and Saturday bull ring racing dirt or pavement, Aussie V8 racing any time trials like targa racing.
I think I left a few out like some of the Japanese GT racing and I like the score truck racing like the Baja 1000.

Well I guess I'll go with the endurance racing cause that type of racing is like being on the road except no opposing traffic but still dangerous cause of conditions changes through out the race.

NASCAR's compose most of my fleet. Big, overpowered, heavy-ill handling cars banging on each other is always a :)

These days Im really only into 1/25 scale. My favourite 3 genre of cars in no order are -
* Vintage Stockcars from late 50s to early 70s
* Transam 1965-74
* 1950's & early 60's Street cars, Mopars only of course

My favorites seem to lean to the smallish side. Not that I don't have just about everything, but I like small cars like Mini's, MINI's, Fiat 500's, 695's, etc.. Just something about a small short wheelbase car zipping around the track, something no one would expect to run and handle well. :)

My current interest is aimed at digital oval racing. Within that I like dirt track stock cars from the 60's, 70's, and 80's. I am hoping to encapsulate the rough n' tumble world of short track dirt bullrings in digital, with family racing in mind.

I also like older Nascar stuff: Late 50's to the late 60's, but don't know at this point if that will translate onto the digital track.

Lastly, I have a repressed interest in the F1 cars of the 50's and sports cars of the 50's to the mid-60's. However, it is more difficult to accomodate those interests in 1/32 home racing on set-up/take down racing with plastic track. (Road courses take up much more space and set up/take down time than a small oval.) So, in that respect I "ooooo" and "ahhhhhh" :drool: at the Cartrix vintage F1's and Ninco's sports car classics, etc... but have not indulged... yet.

Same here Curt.. watching ABC's Wide World Of Sports coverage back in the day. Then my pals and I would retreat to my Strombaker two lane Monza track!!
