"As for the NCO issue - he is a natural leader and knows that the enslisted ranks are the backbone of the military. What I was happy to hear is that they are trained to work with them out of the gate. Very good training actually"

According to my uncles, the USAF must have changed for the good. Both of them were AF NCO's. Good to hear this.

And Marty, if it was around 1960-63, I was one of those bayou boys you may have seen flounder giggling in the Gulf at night, carry Coleman lanterns about 100 feet out. For some reason, flounder (big ones), liked to gather after sundown right off the end of the runway at Keesler, right off Miramar Park (ironic name for that particular park, eh?). The park was established soon after the B-25s came to Keesler, before it was a training base. B-25s were among the loudest planes until jets came along. Nobody would live at the end of that runway.

Wow David, that's really cool. I know you're busting. Good luck to him, it looks like he's setting himself up for a nice career.

Congratulations all 'round, what a great achievement. Wonderful photos as well. When our daughter graduated with her honors degree last year the 'professional' photos really sucked, luckily my wife took some ripper ones.

Thanks, I'm trying to get my puffed up chest back in...

Chris - had the opposite problem: thankfully the pro pics were better, ours were terrible LOL. Congrats on the daughter's graduation with honors as well!
