ok, can you help me? what size of hole (rectangular) is in the DSlot guides for the braid? how far are they apart and what diameter are the cable jackets from the guide wire that go into the guide?

You DaMan Peter. I need 10 of them! :dance: That may change the appeal to others too. I think the all new would be better than even trying to use a DSlot pickup because the DSlot has that short shaft on it. Make more sense to use a part designed for the chassis. Nice work Peter.

Peter,

I believe if you modify the guide to accept 1/8" wide copper braid, that would be "the ticket". Connecting wires from the motor could be soldered on top of the braid.
