Unstoppable - about a runaway train in Pennsylvania.

Exciting stuff! Impressive railways! Nice landscape.

Think I'll pick up on HRW again tomorrow.

When I saw the title of the thread, I was expecting some kind of ironic reference to an 'unstoppable' Riley Elf or Wolseley Hornet or something, knowing full well that either could be stopped by something as weighty and immovable as a forcibly-held pipe cleaner.

Might have to check out that movie. Didn't seem that interesting in the previews, but previews distort things a lot...

Ha! Ha!

Elfs(Elves?) and Hornets had drum brakes,and rather small ones at that!

So you could say they were unstoppable by the standards of present day small cars.

I drove a friend's Model A truck for a while, and the mechanical brakes made a believer out of me. Everything I had since has either been converted to hydraulic or had them from the factory.
