New Job Part Deux!

Congrats!!! That's finally over. I guess I have been very fortunate that I have never had
to go through that job search/job interview process. I know from other people that it
can be a killer.

Dave - I've actually been fortunate beyond belief! The consulting gig was them coming to me from my Linkedin account. Then, they asked me to interview for the position. I'm so lucky to not have been unemployed anywhere in between. I also actually was really happy interviewing since as a hiring manager in my former position, it was nice to sit on the other side of the table. I nailed all my interviews after watching them for so long.

This has really been awesome to go through and I'm soooo much happier now.

Greg - I'm still a slacker and you should expect that ;)

You probably made your own luck. No amount of B.S. can match up to an exemplary work record.

a bad work environment.

Well, I'm unemployed until Monday LOL! Last day with the consulting gig was today and I start for my new boss on Monday. Really great folks, and I had a nice luncheon with my team this week. All the big bosses I work for called me to congratulate and wish me well in the new position. Really, really nice people.

So, onto the next adventure! The best thing? My new office is right by the path so I can pedal my bike at lunch. Woohoo! If you see a big Orange Crush Wrangler with a bike on it heading north, that's me!

Im glad it all worked out for you David. I still think you should get a job in radio after your radio stint. How do you transport your bike, in any special bike carrier?

Greg, I've just got an old hitch-mounted carrier. Hate it actually, but the stupid thing works so for now I'll keep using it.
