HRW Visit!

The big gatherings are nice, but after seeing one and then having a smaller one this weekend, I can vouch for which one takes less work for the hosts. I also think the smaller ones allow for more visiting and racing. We actually have spent hours just running laps with Harry and visiting on the porch with The General. I know when they are running around cooking, cooking, and cooking it can get pretty crazy. This was a great weekend!

Just got home too after flight delays gate changes etc...etc. I almost called Harry and Cindy to turn around and come get me. ;)

Harry and Cindy, I just want to thank you both again for a great weekend! I hated to have to leave and now that I am back home I wish I was still there. You guys are what being friends is all about. I really do appreciate all of your hard work that you went through and everything you did for us, just saying thank you does not seem like enough. You make everyone feel like they are family and I wish I lived closer to you guys. It was great seeing you guys again and I have to agree with Dave that the small get together was just perfect. Running cars with Harry and talking with everybody was the getaway that I have needed for months. David you are a great friend and it is always great getting to see you. (wish our terminals would have been together since both our flights were delayed and left at the same time) But I honestly cant say this enough, Harry and Cindy you both are what makes this hobby great and I feel very lucky to be a part of that. Even if it wasn't for the slot cars, you are the kind of friends you want and need to be around. I cant wait to come back! Thank you so much!
