That's a mistake in my opinion. I would think Scalextric would want to be taken more seriously than that. I understand tooling costs money but so does turned off customers.

The '69 Charger is one my favorite cars. The body elements changed for the 500 model gave it a degree of elegance, fleeting as it was, right before they went over the top with the Daytona. It deserves to be done well.

This will be a horrible replica if we end up with what is in that picture! Well the good news is, if they sell poorly and get discounted down the line like the Truxmor, I'll have a source for some long wheelbase chassis for scratch builds.

I was thinking about that, too. With many of the cars I would use that chassis for, those cheapo hubcaps would be a downright boon. Come to think of it, I never saw those on a Charger, but they were on just about every Roadrunner or Superbee I ever saw.

DGE467 and I have every Truxmor ever made for rebuilds, yet it works because the Trux chassis runs well.

Feel taken by the performance(lack of) of the Stevenson Camaro just out, the 71 camaro again not even close to the trans am mustang and older Camaro's, so i am leary on how the chassis will run let alone all the nicks everyone else has talked about body wise.

I find myself on the scalley sidelines now too.

Well, we know they read this community's comments, and they have had a remarkable customer service history, so maybe they will take the hint. If not, and this chassis turns out like the Trux failure, I'll have a stack of chassis when they don't sell. I only have 3 left from the 8 I bought on closeout for $20 each last year.
