Nothing going on?

I don't see anything new here. I've got plenty going on including a 57 Nomad paint job for someone else thats killing me. It seems that everytime I go to do some of it, all thats left is all the chrome trim, I get all anxious and lose my confidence. I'm getting a little at a time, but very little before I have to put it back down. Then I feel guilty when I want to do one of my cars I have waiting for me to assemble with Shapeways chassis.

much to do at work, so little time left to do anything else. kids already have holidays, so try to spend some time with them. they are growing up so fast.
at least i had 20 laps on the desmo with the Aston and the Corvette. looks like those chassis need a little work (still), as they are chattering in the turns. maybe a little to much axle play in the brass tube bearings. still thinking how to reduce the play without having to remove the whole rear axle, as it is a push-through chassis :/
plus trying to decide what body to use for the 4-track-proxy. started with a fenderless coupe body, but as soon as i had everything together open-wheelers were banned ..
maybe i´ll get a pink pig from mickey?

now to think about what motor and gears to use for the pink pig :)
as the space between the wheels will be narrow, ranch-design crown will be the choice for the car. if the RD crown fits in a Mini, it will fit the pig as well :)

I've been on hiatus from building.
Vacation at OBX, daughter is on summer vaca, things need to get done around the house!
I did clean and organize my work space, though. Does that count :?:

In the last two weeks I've laid about 260Sg. ft. of laminate flooring, Spent 30hr's stripping wall paper, moved 3 vans and countless car loads of stuff and still found time to go to work!! Wish I was relaxing and building slot cars, but another couple/few months of this and I can spend a whole lotta time doin that! ;-)

I'm just doing some scenic work on my racetrack before running my stage of the U2 TransAm proxy. Have to give the cars a nice background.

I could not resist taking a few photos with some of the cars on Little Monte though.

Meantime I have these beautiful cars to look at when I come back in the house!

Peter, Roland the rear tires are .435" wide and the width of the car is 1.970" wide if that helps any
