Goodwood Festival of Speed 2013 Highlights

Ahhh.... It is definitely one of the things on my 'to do' list. Now, If I can just arrange a lottery win sometime between now and April next year I could do SlotFestival and FoS in one trip. I'm sure I could find somewhere to camp for the interim 7 or 8 weeks.

Kurt mentioned the Lotus JPS car crashed. Turns out we were in the right place at the right time - we (Jenny, Kurt & Steve) were no more than 50' from the crash! At the time, Jenny was "trying" my DSLR (it was an extended trial - about 500 pictures... :lol: ). Jenny captured a great series of photos - this is the first time she's seen her pictures. Nice work Jenny (be sure to put a DSLR on your Xmas list...)!!!

Goodwood is our dream list, too, but my wife only gave in because I planned a looong drive north to the Lake Country. Beatrix Potter made an impression on her. If the ducks, rabbits and household pets don't talk, she'll be very disappointed. But it is beautiful. One good look at that area and you begin to understand all the fussing and fighting that has gone on for 2000 years or so by folks who wanted to own England. There was a time when England looked very much like that nearly everywhere, in terms of an unspoiled landscape- "England's green and pleasant land".

You might get a chunk of the expense back on taxes, working for C&D. Those rascals are expensive the last time I looked.

I've done business with B&H several times, and they are tops. I also have experience with Canon cameras over the years, and they are good stuff, too.

Amazing. Its almost creepy. I assume they just programmed a chip and inserted it in the diagnostic port, then when he went to neutral, they radio switched it from the running chip to the diagnostic, and it played the song. Then they could switch back and he could drive as normal. However they did it, they spent some time on that one.
