New Storage for the RMS Skunkworks!

Our next door neighbors, who are awesome people, have sadly moved due to jobs. They left this storage cabinet for me as they didn't have room for it in their U-Haul. They thought I might get good use out of it. Not wanting to disappoint them, here's the new addition to the work surface and storage area:



There's enough room for my tire truing and my soldering station now, plus some room for in-progress stuff and models:


It fits pretty well with the rest of my area:


The storage drawers are HUGE. Good thing too, I have a "few" projects I've been slacking off on...




As soon as I take Chris out to WPAFB and come back, this thing is going to be USED and heavily!

Well, it ain't no HRW HQ with EVERYTHING known to man to fix or build a slot car, but it'll do...

Storage is one of the many things I just don't have enough of. Just got rid of a load of assorted junk, including 3 old computers and an N64 with steering wheels, from beneath the slot table in the hopes of doing something about some more storage under there. But I despair of ever being anywhere near that organized David.

I think that is what they were called that were battery powered on the slotted tracks?

Ember - don't worry - it doesn't stay this way for long LOL. Storage is always a killer. Luckily, the track has a bunch underneath too.

DGE - As soon as my son is off I'll be finishing re-molding the transporter kits.

Wayne - it is an old Motorific...NOT 1:32 as the auction said 8 years ago...

Shotgun and VonS - thank you. I finished the basement myself and am proud to say it is the only square room in the house lol. It is small, but all mine.

It's nice, but just to neat. :lol: Hmmm... I see 2 Datsuns in need of a little love. I never have figured out a chassis for mine, so they languish in their boxes, someday, someday. :(
